There are around 300 playing members in our ladies’ golf club, and we have many more playing social golf.

If you’re looking to join the fun, it’ll be easy to find a friend.  Plus, there are many opportunities to join in the regular fun social activities, such as birthday luncheons, charity fundraisers for worthwhile causes such as breast cancer and even regular trips away.

We also have a strong group of lady vets who have a full itinerary of golf events and social activities.  They love to have a good time!

Budding Birdies - An introduction program for ladies interested in finding out what golf is about. Help is provided for as long as it takes to make you feel confident about playing. Clinics are held on Saturday afternoons and participants can play 9 holes with other beginners on Tuesdays.

Dress Guidelines

Not permitted

  • Tee shirts, singlets, tank tops or shirts with loud or crude messages
  • Denim or other material skirts and shorts which have frayed edges around the hem line

The length of skirts and shorts is contentious. It is necessary to be aware of current trends and fashions, but it is difficult to tell a potential new young girl member that she cannot wear something that she sees lady professionals wearing on the LPGA circuit. In other words and put simply, for all of our competition in golf, Golf "Specific" attire is acceptable.

For social golf we are more liberal and understanding. We are a seaside holiday resort area and need to encourage visitors to play to assist our financial viability. Crude clothing is still not acceptable.
